Privacy Policy

Tenrite complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). TODO: have an Australian solicitor review this policy before launch.

What we do NOT collect

We do not store your lease document or its text, and we never put personal information or lease content in logs, analytics, or any AI prompt. Your document is processed entirely in your browser — text extraction and OCR run locally and are never uploaded. Personal details (name, address, phone, email, ABN) are redacted on your device before anything is analysed.

What we store

• Account: your email, plan, and timestamps.
• Profile you provide at onboarding: your name, state, city and address — used to tailor your reports and letters. You can delete it any time by deleting your account.
• Sessions: a hashed IP, your browser type, and timestamps.
• Anonymised scan results: state, score, money-at-risk and the report findings — never lease text or personal information.
• Security audit and (optional) referral-click events, with no PII.

Data residency

All stored data is hosted in an Australian region (Sydney).

Retention & deletion

Anonymised reports are automatically purged after our retention window. You can export everything we hold and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account page.

Consent & cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't track you. Any future non-essential cookies will require your consent.

Data breaches

We maintain a response plan consistent with the OAIC Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Migration referrals

Where we surface migration referrals, we only refer to MARA-registered agents, disclose any referral fee, and do not provide migration advice ourselves.
